After 9 long seasons of losing to the Mountaineers, Aurora finally put an end to the losing streak and did it with fashion and on a great night for football. It was the perfect setup, it was the last regular season game, and it was a district and conference game, whoever won the game would advance to the playoffs, and did I mention the field was a mudpit and it rained all night long? Aurora scored 8 points early on and thats all they needed shutting the Mt' Neers out and towards the end of the game tempers started to flare as the Mt'Neer coach was ejected as well as a player a few play later.
